Spring has arrived in Brownsboro, and with the warmer weather, Brownsboro residents are beginning their gardens for harvests of homegrown produce in the coming months.  Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a great way to receive the benefits of local food without having a garden yourself while supporting sustainable farming in your community.  EpiCurious CSA is located in Brownsboro and has openings for the 2014 season.

If you are familiar with EpiCurious CSA from years past, the pricing remains the same.  A full share is $500 and a half share is $300; there is a $25 discount if paid in full by April 15th.  Shares include a half bushel of produce per week; a half share is the same amount of veggies & fruit as a full share, but pick up is every other week.

The season will begin the first week of June and will run through late October or the first killing frost.  Pick up will be Thursdays from 6 am till dark.  A “cool-bot” cooler room allows long hours for pick up, while holding your produce fresh and cool.

Have you had a great experience with EpiCurious CSA?  Refer a friend and receive a complimentary copy of Cooking in Season, a locally published cookbook to make the most of your weekly CSA basket.  Check out EpiCurious CSA on Facebook for recipes using CSA produce as well.

Please call Joyce Keibler at 228-3860 if you have any questions or would like to sign up.
