Kentucky Waterways Alliance is planning a kickoff of a Harrods Creek Watershed planning project on Monday, February 24th at 6:30pm.
KWA and its members recognize that the land and waterways of Harrods Creek are special and deserve preservation and protection, and this informational meeting at the John Black Community Center will get the project going with speakers on watershed planning and the opportunities to get involved. Refreshments will be served. Everyone is invited, particularly anyone living or working in the watershed.
Subsequent watershed team meetings will follow approximately every six to eight weeks to do the actual work of creating and writing a watershed plan. Visit http://www.harrodscreek.org for upcoming events and more information.
