Learn about and support local businesses in Oldham County at Showcase Oldham County on Friday, March 9, 2012 and Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the Oldham County YMCA Soccer Complex in Buckner. Louisville Metro Mayor Greg Fischer will be the guest speaker at the Showcase Kickoff Luncheon on Friday from 11:30-1:30. The Showcase will also feature entertainment and family fun in the Oldham Icon singing competition, with auditions on Friday night and live competition on Saturday.
The Foxhollow Farm Store is also open from 10-5 on Saturday, so stop in for their grass-fed beef or lunch while you’re out and about. The Foxhollow Folk School is offering many classes this spring and summer, including a new bread-making class coming up on March 17th.
