Do you know about Oldham County’s spring burning restrictions?

With so many limbs down after such a harsh winter, it may seem like a good idea to burn some of that brush.  But before you light the bonfire, be sure to familiarize yourself with Oldham County’s Spring Forest Fire Hazard Season.  Most important to note is that it is illegal to burn anything within 150 feet of any woodland or brushland between the daylight hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.

The burn restrictions began in February and will end on April 30th.

Stay safe this spring, Brownsboro!
