Meet Emily Sears, Brownsboro Alliance’s webmaster and digital media consultant!

A native of Virginia, Emily has lived in Kentucky for just over five years.  She has lived in Oldham County for most of her time in the Bluegrass State, and established firm roots locally when she and her husband built a new house on five acres in the heart of Brownsboro last year.  After briefly living in the city and then moving to the suburbs, they eventually chose Brownsboro to raise a family, with more responsibility to each other and to the land and animals.  The couple has two daughters, ages 2 1/2 and 13 months.

Emily graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from The College of William and Mary in Virginia, where she first became interested in web design by hosting a website for a women’s social organization on campus.  Bigger projects came later, including online media development for a Kentucky not-for profit, local business owners, and book publishers, among others.  Emily’s clients are most impressed with her ability to research and write, as well as her eye for design and creative concepts.  Welcome, Emily!
